TLC Partners with Winair and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Properties to Give Back to the Community
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico – (March 8, 2016) – TLC Plumbing & Utility recently donated their time and expertise by helping to install several new appliances in a home that’s being flipped by Dan Rowe, of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. All of the profits from selling the home will go to Albuquerque Christian School, where they will use the donation to help with student scholarships and programs. Winair also donated a variety of top of the line products for TLC to install (see the full list below).
Robert Zalma, who is managing the project’s installation said, “all of the equipment we’re installing are appliances that you’d want in your own home. We even have an Alexa thermostat, so whoever ends up purchasing the home will be able to control their home’s environment from their phone!”
Spectrum of Equipment and Installation
- 3.5 ton TLC Branded Split System with a 2 stage 80% heater
- Transitioning from the underground sona-tubing under the slab and utilizing the overhead ducting and adding a new return duct in the hallway
- The team installed a new supply duct for each bathroom
- Installation of a mini split in the back patio room for comfort
- Helping with electrical needs by adding circuits for the mini-split and the condensing unit on the roof
- Bringing the existing water heater up to code
