Our water heater exploded one early afternoon. We called TLC to help. I wanted a certain type of new water heater, but the technician ... was extremely honest about the price and time it would take to switch, both which were prohibitive. We replaced with an upgraded model of what we had. Features were added to make it more safe and to current code. TLC set up the city inspection so we didn't have to. When the inspector arrived, it was perfect. He said it is rare that he finds anything wrong with a TLC installation. Our problem was considered an emergency, so we had same day service--it took just a few hours. Very pleased.

Zion from TLC came to our apartment today to fix a plumbing issue after our maintenance team determined it was past the point where they...could fix it and man, we are so glad they called him. He was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He ended up coming at 5 pm on a Friday and saw it was going to be quite the undertaking, but that didn't phase him at all! He ended up staying until it was finished, which ended up being close to 6 pm! We were so impressed that he stayed so late and was still so kind to us on top of all that he had to park far from the Unit and carry all his tools to and from the apartment. This dude is a saint.Once he left, we were actually able to take a shower after being limited to baths for a week! We were hearing the sound of a water leak in the wall of our kitchen. Called TLC for emergency service. Within an hour we had a very ...knowledgeable tech on sight who worked quickly to diagnose this issue and offer options. Unfortunately, the leak was a result of the use of polybutylene piping. He was willing to repair the leak but assured us this was just the first leak of what will be many due to the faulty materials used in the construction of the house. He recommended re-piping the entire house. After doing some research, we decided to do the re-pipe. TLC got us a quote within 2 days. They were on-site one day latter and the work was completed within three days. The team doing the work was exceptionally professional and patient with the elderly women living in the home, answering questions and reassuring them of the progress being made. The entire endeavor could have been stressful and anxiety filled -- but it wasn't. It was a learning experience that ended with a sense of accomplishment and confidence on the part of the home owners.
