If your air conditioner is displaying any of the below issues, it may be time for an AC repair:

If your AC isn’t working, below we’ve provided some quick tips to help you get it back up and running. That said, air conditioners contain complex and potentially dangerous components that should only be handled by licensed HVAC professionals. There are a number of reasons why your AC may not be working. First, make sure that your AC has power. Sometimes a tripped circuit breaker is the culprit. Second, make sure that your thermostat is set to “COOL” and not “FAN.” When the fan mode is on, only room temperature air will circulate. Third, if your thermostat is set to “COOL” and you know you have power, make sure that your thermostat has charged batteries. If you have a hard-wired thermostat you could have an issue with frayed wiring, but you won’t know for certain without a professional diagnostic. Lastly, it’s possible that your AC has stopped working due to a clogged air filter. Dirty air filters will block the flow of air, causing your AC to go into overdrive and potentially shut down for safety reasons. If you feel comfortable changing the air filter, go ahead and do so.
